Dutch-born Ghanaian striker Myron Boadu scored a brace and set up another for Az Alkmaar in their 5-0 win over FC Astana in the Europa League.
Boadu opened the floodgates with a delightful finish in the 29th minute before providing the assist for Ousamma Iddrisi to give the visitors a 3-0 lead.
The Ghanaian completed the rout in the 77th minute to put the seal on a brilliant performance in Kazakhstan on Thursday night.
As of now, the 18 year old who was born in Amsterdam to Ghanaian parents is still eligible to play for the Black Stars.
He has not featured for the Netherlands even though he turned out for their junior sides.
But the time is ticking for the Ghana FA to make their move or risk losing one of the hottest prospects in world football.
Boadu has registered 13 goals and 10 assists in 21 games for Alkmaar this season.
