Lalas Abubakar sends farewell message to Tim Howard after goalkeeper announces retirement

Colorado Rapids defender Lalas Abubakar has paid tribute to his teammate Tim Howard who announced his retirement from football at the end of the MLS Season.

The former USA international spent 10 seasons at Everton after joining from Manchester United in 2006, initially on loan before making the move permanent in February 2007.

Howard racked up over 400 appearances during his time at Everton before moving back to the MLS with Colorado Rapids, where he ended his career this weekend after a 3-1 loss to LAFC.

Lalas Abubakar who joined Colorado Rapids from Columbus Crew on loan earlier this year took his official Instagram account to bid the legendary goalkeeper an emmotional farewell. He also wish him the best of luck in Everything.
