Asante Kotoko part ways with Akapo Patron

Asante Kotoko have officially parted ways with their assistant coach Akapo Patron after three years at the Club.

The coach who joined the club from WAFA was given his sacking letter on Wednesday after meeting with the management of the club.

The reason for his dismissal remain undisclosed.

Former Karela United coach Johnson Smith has been line up to replace him. The former Berekum Arsenal coach has already agreed a two year contract with the Porcupine Warriors.

Akapo Patron worked with three different coaches during his stint with Kotoko. Paa Kwesi Fabin, C K Akonnor and current coach Kjetil Zachariassen.
