#GFAElections2019: ‘Kurt is the right man to be the GFA President’ – Hillary Boaten

The Human Resources Manager of Springfield Group, Hillary Boaten has thrown her weight behind Kurt Okraku to emerge the next GFA President ahead of the upcoming elections insisting he is the right man for the job.

Delivering her keynote address at the #GameChanger Manifesto Unveiling on Tuesday, the experienced Human Resource Manager highlighted the need for delegates to vote for Kurt in the upcoming elections.

To her, Kurt envelopes the experience and knowledge required to lead the new GFA and his reign will see Ghana football at a different level.

“Kurt, in my opinion, has the qualification, the experience and ample insider knowledge of what it takes to manage football at the association level and can bring back the dissipated passion that the game of football needs in Ghana at the moment,” she noted.

“We know how discerning and sophisticated Ghanaian football fans have become these days. This is why personally, I want to endorse an FA Aspirant who will be transparent with the people by openly sharing with them whatever endorsement deals have been clinched with corporate Ghana so that scandals are avoided.

“We want an FA President who will not be reluctant to let the media know what his budget is, and how much officials are being given for their role in the management of the national teams,” she added.

Kurt, on Tuesday, unveiled his manifesto spelling out his vision in his bid to become the next GFA President following the exit of Kwesi Nyantakyi.

He will however be given a tough contest by former GFA Vice Presidents George Afriyie and Fred Pappoe, Tema Youth President Osei Kwaku Palmer, Phar Rangers President Nana Yaw Amponsah and Lawyers Amanda Akuokor Clinton and George Ankomah Mensah.
