The race for a seat on the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association is gradually gathering storm and is expected to be a heated one following the decision of the CEO of Asante Kotoko George Amoako to join.
Mr. Amoako joins a tall list of aspirants who have made their intentions of contesting for a slot on the ExCo public.
The club on Wednesday announced that their CEO will join the long list of aspirants for the enviable slot on the Executive Council.
“CEO George Amoako for the GFA Executive Council,” the club tweeted.

Amoako’s desire to serve on the Executive Council of the Ghana FA will however be confronted with stiff opposition with personalities like Randy Abbey – owner of Kpando Heart of Lions and AshGold CEO Frederick Acheampong all contesting.
Founder of King Faisal Babies FC Alhaji Karim Grusah and Manager of Asamoah Gyan and Director for Young Apostles Sammy Anim Addo have also declared their intentions of contesting.
It appears the contest for the GFA Presidential seat is overshadowing the Executive Council position but the names popping up obviously indicate a tough contest ahead.
