Chairman of Division One League side Young Apostles, Sammy Anim Addo will be contesting for a slot on the Executive Council of the Ghana FA.
Speaking to journalists after the final of the Baby Jet U-16 tournament, Sammy Anim Addo who doubles as Asamoah Gyan’s manager confirmed that he will pick up his nomination form on Thursday, September 19, 2019.
“I’m picking my forms, God-willing tomorrow to go for the Executive Council position on the ticket of Division One’s Young apostles”
Sammy joins a tall list of aspirants who have made their intentions of contesting for a slot on the ExCo public.
The contest for a slot on the Executive Council, hitherto the Executive Committee, will be given a stiff race following the reduction of the composition from 23 to 12 members.
The GFA Executive Council elections are set to be held on October 24.
