Black Stars General Captain Asamoah Gyan is inching closer to a move to  Indian Super League side NorthEast United according Ghanasoccernet.

Gyan 33 is available on a free transfer after seeing out his contract at Turkish Super Lig side Kayserispor at the just ended season.

Talks between the Guwahati-based and Gyan’s representatives are far advanced and the deal could be announced later this month.

The highest topscorer for Ghana National team is been lined-up to replace Nigerian Bartholomew Owogbalor Ogbeche who finished last season as the top scorer at the club with 12 goals.

Should they reach an agreement, the club will be Asamoah Gyan eleventh  Club since making his debut for Liberty Professionals in 2003.

The 2019/20 Indian Super League has been scheduled to start on 20 October, 2019.
