CAFCL : Things will be different in Sousse – Assistant coach of Etoile warns

Assistant coach of Etoile du Sahel, Mhamdi Rafik has warned Asante Kotoko that they will face a different Etoile in Sousse after their first leg 2-0 victory over the Tunisians at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Augustine Okrah and Richard Arthur scored in both Halves to give the Porcupines a huge advantage ahead of the second leg in Sousse.

Speaking to the media after the game, Mhamdi Rafik insisted Kotoko is different from Hafia Club of Guinea, but warned Etoile Du Sahel is a different side when they are playing in Sousse.

“Hafia FC is not Ashanti. In Hafia the conditions were not good but we were confident in the return leg. Asante Kotoko is different (comparing the two opposition).

“Asante Kotoko is a modern team, a very good team but Etoile du Sahel is not easy in Sousse.”

He continued “We know the opposition we have now but is a revenge in Sousse. Because this year and this season we had many problems. Problems we had at Hafia and four players were not able to come with us for different reasons.”

“But for the group, we have just a chance to qualify to the Champions league group stages in Sousse.”

The second leg has been scheduled to come off on September 27.
