A goal in each halves from Augestine Okrah and Richard Arthur gave Asanat Kotoko a respectable lead ahead of the second leg in Sousse.
Footballmadeinghana rated the performance of Asante Kotoko players by over (10).
Felix Annan( 7/10) – largely a spectator I’m the game. Was able to save few balls that came to the goalpost. And the telepathy between him and the defenders was lit.
Empem Dacosta ( 7/10)
The Lateral defender was laudable today. Completed most tackles in the first half though a bit sluggish in attacking. Contributed nothin on the attack.
Patrick Yeboah ( 6/10)
The Left back didn’t engage in much exercise this afternoon. He gave few opponents passes but together with his teammates were able to gave a compact defense this afternoon. In all he wants OK.
Habib Mohammed ( 7/10)-
The defender was absolute super this afternoon. He was the defense’s sweeper and exhibited quality football. Dealt very well with Ariri at the back.
Agyemang Badu ( 6.5/10)-
Started very well but looked a bit over confidence. Was defensively OK. He is gradually forming a good relationship with Habib at the back.
Justice Blay (7/10)-
The defensive midfielder was sensational again. Got all his intercepton right. Provided the needed Shield for the back four. Need to work on his passes.
Jordan Opoku ( 7/10) –
The offensive midfielder as expected was super with his offensive duties. His passes to the flangs and also to the attack were commendable. Sat deep to help Blay in protecting the back four.
Emmanuel Gyamfi ( 7/10) – Explosive as always. Was a constant threat to the visitors defense. Completed most take ons and his pace caused havoc to the Tunisians. Was withdrawn for Kelvin Andoh.
Richard Arthur ( 7/10) –
The striker was really up to the task. His runnings on the wings caused a lot of problems tobthe visitors. Scored a very good goal to double his side lead.
George Abege ( 6/10)
The Striker showed a glimpse of his quality today. He looses possessions easy and some times, his variation was awful. Blasted two goalscoring chances away. He will get better with more games.
Augustine Okrah ( 7.5/10) – Broke the deadlocks of the game with a beautiful freekick kick. Wore his socks off for the team. Provided a different dimension to the Zachariassen team this afternoon. A debut to remember for his childhood club.
Kelvin Andoh (5/10)
Came to lubricate the midfield for Kotoko. Though, he didn’t attack as expected but was able to contain the Tunisians.
Songne Yacouba (5 /10)
The striker couldn’t make any impact in the game. Looked rusty and sluggish. Will need more games to get back to his best.
Godfred Asiamah (5/10) – Late cameo.
