Ghana League Club Association have proposed a new date for the reply of the President Cup game between Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak.

The game which was called off after just 8 minute due to heavy downpour at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium will now be played on either 6th or 13th of October according to GHALCA Chairman Kudjoe Fianoo.

Kudjoe Fianoo also hinted the game could be played at the Accra Sports Stadium should the Baba Yara Stadium be closed for renovations.

“After meeting today GHALCA is looking at 6th October and 13th October having in mind Asante Kotoko’s CAF competitions engagement and also our sponsors which is government and for that matter the ministry of youth and sports.”

“There could be a change of venue if the Baba Yara stadium will not be available because the stadium was supposed to be closed for renovations but for Kotoko’s participation in Africa.

“If Baba Yara Stadium won’t be available, then Accra will be the next venue” He told Oyerepa FM Sports.

Asante Kotoko will be looking to defend their title after overcoming the Phobians to win the trophy two years ago.
