Ahead of the President Cup game against Asante Kotoko on Sunday, Hearts of Oak coach Kim Grant has warned that the Phobians will make things difficult for the Porcupines Warriors at the Baba Yara Stadium.
According to Grant, the current Asante Kotoko team is different from the one they faced in the semi finals of the Normalization Committee tier one competition two months ago, he also stated the Phobians will make things difficult for their opponent come Sunday.
“We are going to make sure that Kotoko finds it very difficult and I’m sure they will because this is not the team that they have played for a long time. This is a totally different team,” Grant told reporters.
“This is a totally different way we are playing and hopefully we will be a force to reckon with now and the future.
“But again it’s a process. We are building a solid team and I’m sure with success on Sunday.”
Hearts of Oak are winless against Asante Kotoko in their last three encounters. The Phobians will be looking to take advantage of their good record against Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium to overcome their bitter rivals on Sunday.
The Phobians have won the cup on four occasions, one less than the Porcupines.
