Executive Director of Dreams FC Mr Kurt Okraku has hailed the Members of Ghana League Club Association for seeing off a successful congress.
Despite a lot of dissagrement between the Members and the Normalization Committee, Delegates eventually adopted the new statutes proposed by the NC after making some amendments to some of the proposals.
Speaking to footballmadeinghana.com after the event, Kurt Okraku expressed his delight for the near return of competitive football after year of Normalization period. He also lauded the members of the football clubs for putting their interests aside in order to see the return of competitive football.
” It’s the best news we can have in nine months, based on the fact that for nine months we have not had the control of our game, we have not had a organised football. And today it’s the beginning of a new story to be told”
“Today football clubs showed that we can come together and make positive input toward our own lives. And I’m extremely happy about what happened today”
Hundred and fifteen out of 123 delegates voted for the new statutes to be adopted at the Extraordinary Congress on Thursday paving way for the beginning of Elections process to get a new President for the Ghana Football Association.
