Former CEO of Ghana Minerals Commission Dr. Toni Aubynn shows interest in vacant GFA Presidential seat

Former Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Minerals Commission who also serve as a board member of Premier league side Medeama Dr. Toni Aubynn is ready to contest for the vacant GFA Presidential seat in the upcoming GFA election.

Mr. Aubynn in an interview with Accra based radio station Angel FM monitored made it clear that he’s ready to contest for the GFA post.

Toni has a unique background in the extractives industry with over 20 years of experience in the sector.

He has served on the board of various institutions including, the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), Ghana Railway Development Authority and a host of others.

Dr. Toni Aubynn’s declaration may surprise many people just like that of Asante Kotoko Chairman Dr. Kwame Kyei who also came out earlier on Friday announcing his readiness to go for the vacant position.

With this latest inclusion, the number of those who are interested in the vacant position keeps swelling with Kurt Okraku, Wilfred Osei Kwaku, George Afriyie, Fred Pappoe, Nana Yaw Amponsah, Alhaji Grusah and Dr. Kwame Kyei.
