Ghanaian Players Abroad Best XI WK3 – Jordan and KP lead attack as Salisu makes maiden appearance

Real Valladolid defender Abdul Karim Salisu continued his fine form in the Spanish La Liga, guiding his side to pick an important point away from the Santiago Bernabeaux while Joseph Aidoo staged a stupendous performance for Celta Vigo in the 1-0 win over Valencia.

Jordan Ayew scored against Manchester United to break a 15-year record for Crystal Palace while Kevin Prince Boateng opened his scoring account with Fiorentina in their 4-3 home defeat to Napoli.

3. Kevin Danso (Southampton) – He lasted the entire duration of the game as Southampton grabbed a 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium. Danso was brilliant as he made his debut for Southampton in the win and lasted the entire duration of the game.

4. Joseph Aidoo (Celta Vigo) – Aidoo played the full duration of the game for Celta Vigo as they pipped Valencia. Aidoo made his debut for the home side but staged a wonderful performance to protect his side from conceding.

5. Abdul Karim Salisu (Real Valladolid) – Salisu was a delight to watch as he guided his side to steal a point at the Santiago Bernabeau against Real Madrid. He lasted the entire duration of the game for Real Valladolid.

7. Mubarak Wakaso (Desportivo Alaves) – Wakaso lasted the full duration of the game and suffered a yellow card as his Deportivo Alaves side drew goalless at home with Espanyol. His aggression and seriousness were just admirable.

7. Jeffrey Schlupp (Crystal Palace) – Schlupp lasted 80 minutes of the game and provided the assist for Jordan to break the deadlock in the 32nd minute for Crystal Palace as they beat Manchester United at the Old Trafford.

10. K. P. Boateng (Fiorentina) – Boateng was on target for Fiorentina but they unfortunately lost to Napoli by 4-3 in the opener of the Serie A.

11. Christian Atsu (Newcastle United) – staged a wonderful injury return for Newcastle United, providing an assist for his side’s only goal to win the game. He came on in the 17th minute.
