CAF CC: AshantiGold assistant coach switches focus to RS Berkane

Assistant coach of Ashantigold Yakubu  Sharif Mambo says his side have to prepare very well for their clash against 2019 CAF Confederation Cup runners up RS Berkane in the next qualifying round.

The Miners set up the meeting with the Moroccan giants after thumping Akonangui 4-1 on aggregate in the preliminary round.

Shafiu Mumuni‘s first half hat trick inspired a 3-0 win at the Len Clay Stadium on Saturday after the first leg ended 1-1 in Equatorial Guinea a fortnight ago.

“The way forward is our next opponent we have to go back and look at them and prepare very well because they will becoming here before we go there. We have to prepare our boys for the task ahead” Mambo said in his post match presser.

The Ghana Premier League side will host the Oranges for the first leg between  the weekend of 13–15 September and the return leg at the Stade Municipal de Berkane between 27–29 September.
