Ashantigold coach Ricardo Da Rocha believes his side have improved ahead of the second leg game against Akonangui FC in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Obuasi based club strolled to a convincing to 2-0 victory over Desire Academy in a preparatory match over the weekend.
Da Rocha revealed after the game that his side looked stronger and much better in the friendly.
“I’ve seen an improvement in my team after today’s game. We’re more focused on the game against Akonangui. All we want is a win for our supporters and Ghanaians,” he said after the game.
The first leg which was played in Equatorial Guinea a fortnight ago ended 1-1.
The Miners just need to avoid defeat or maintain a goalless scoreline on Saturday in order to boot out their opponent.
