Head coach of Kano Pillars Ibrahim Musah has warned that his charges will be gunning for the win when they come up against Asante Kotoko in the second leg of the CAF Champions League.
Despite winning the first leg by 3-2, Musa insisted his charges will be looking to complete the double against their Ghanaian counterpart come what may.
“Asante Kotoko is a very good side, but our aims can’t be defeated because we have two chances and they are either a win or draw, but we are not even thinking of a draw” He told Nhyria FM Sports
“We are going to capitalize on the mistakes of Asante Kotoko and we are also working on the strength of Asante Kotoko.
“The goals we conceded were all from set pieces, we are going to work on how to defend set pieces and make sure we stop Asante Kotoko from scoring us.
“Every goal at this stage of the continental competition is very vital, that’s why we are going to score goals not a goal”.
The second leg has been scheduled to come off on Sunday August 25th at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
