Ghanaian striker Abel Manomey has turned down an offer to join Lebanese Division One side Ghazieth Club, footballmadeinghana.com can exclusively reveal.
The striker who was the top marksman for the Division One side in Ghana refused to join the Lebanese side despite being offered a mouthwatering offer.
Manomey believes the move to Lebanon will affect his education hence turning down the offer.
“I have one year of my Masters of Philosophy in Health Physical Education Recreation and Sports to do.
“Though the money was good, I felt I needed to finish the course,” he told footballmadeinghana.com
“I will want to play domestic football as well and help champion the course of locally-based football players in the country,” he added.
Manomey currently a free agent after his contract ended on 30th June 2019 with Accra Great Olympics Football Club.
