Ghana Premier League side Techiman Eleven Wonders will be renamed TECHIMAN BENFICA SC following a partnership agreement with Seerdorf Soccerlink Academy and Agency.
The two parties signed a partnership agreement which includes a new name for the club, new policy direction, a strategic plan as well as mission and vision statement for the club.
This event took place on 17th June 2019 at the PALMA Hotel Spintex, Accra with the representatives of both Techiman Eleven Wonders and Seedorf Soccerlink Academy and Agency present.
Seedorf Asante (a licensed FIFA Intermediary) and Fred OPOKU both CEOs of Seedorf Socerlink Academy and Agency were the two prominent people who made the move possible.
Mr. Yaw Ameyaw, the vice president of Techiman Eleven Wonders FC led their delegation to the successful meeting.
The club’s Secretary and Accra Rep were also present.
As part of the partnership agreement, a consensus was reached between both parties to get a new name that will serve the purpose and give identity to both parties both local and international.
The agreement would seek to develop youth football in the region and also expose the young and talented ones to the world of soccer.
A date is yet to be scheduled for the major launch and unveiling of the new name to the people of the club.
