Black Stars attacker Christian Atsu has picked Egypt and Senegal as Ghana’s main threat at the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
The diminutive winger believes the Pharaohs and Lions of Teranga among the favorites for the continental showpiece which starts on Friday.
Ghana has not won the AFCON trophy since 1982 but Atsu believes a determined Black Stars team can end the country’s drought.
“This is the one I have to win and I believe the Black Stars can achieve it. I have so much faith in the current group, this my fourth time at the AFCON and i want to win it” he said in an exclusive interview with FootballMadeInGhana.com
The four-time winners have been drawn in Group F alongside defending champions Cameroon, Guinea Bissau and Benin.
Ghana will kickstart their campaign against Benin on June 25, four days before facing the Indomitable Lions.
The Black Stars last Group game will be against Guinea-Bissau on July 2.
