Ghanaian midfielder Olokwei Commodore has completed a move to Rwanda Premier League champions Rayon Sport, the club has announced.
The hardworking midfielder signed the two year deal with the club on Wednesday after passing the mandatory medicals.
Commodore who was a member of Ghana’s U20 side during the U20 AFCON qualifier is noted for his marvelous touches and visionary passes.
The deal which was facilitated by Ghanaian top agent David Bortey is expected to see the Ghanaian riding in the glories of other Ghanaian players in the Rwandan league to excel.
Commodore’s transfer is one of the few top transfers in the Rwandan league that have been facilitated by the young Ghanaian agent whose fame in East Africa is catching fire.
Rayon Sport are looking to defend their title as well as staging a wonderful outing in the CAF Champions League next season and Commodore is seen as the perfect match for their target.
Already, Ghanaian striker Michael Sarpong is making huge strides with Rayon Sport, scoring 16 goals and providing 8 assists in his first season in the Rwandan League.
