Kumasi Asante Kotoko attacker Fatawu Mohammed insists it was very difficult for him in his first professional stint in Europe because he was very young.

The talented forward mentioned that it was not easy for him as a young player but with determination, he was able to make his mark.

“I was young when I first moved to Sweden, it was difficult particularly as I was leaving my family, friends, my country and others. But I was very determined and I adapted quickly.” Fatawu told footballmadeinghana.com

“The Swedish League was good, it is virtually the same as the American League so when I later moved to Portland Timbers in USA, It was normal for me and I was able to cope.”

Fatawu has also featured for Vimmerby IF, Vancouver White Caps and Shirak FC in Armenia
