NC Special Competition: Karela United travel to Inter Allies with an eye on top spot

Karela United aim to keep up the chase for top spot with a win in their visit to Inter Allies in the Special Competition on Wednesday.

The Aiyinasi based side are only one point adrift of leaders Hearts of Oak and will fancy themselves against the bottom-placed Allies.

Karela are in good form at the moment and after ending Elmina Shark’s unbeaten run at the weekend, they start the match as overwhelming favorites.

For the Capelli boys, the midweek clash is an opportunity to redeem some pride in front of their home crowd after a gloomy campaign so far.

The host are on a five game losing risk and must avoid defeat at all cost.

The reverse fixture ended 3-1 in favor of Karela at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.
