Ghana youth international Ibrahim Sadiq inspired FC Nordsjaelland U-19s to a remarkable come-back victory against Sikelborg on Saturday.
Despite scoring a hat-trick and providing an assist in their 6-3 win over Helsingo last Tuesday, the 19 year old attacker was surprisingly named on the bench.
The former Right to Dream Academy star was however introduced in the second half with his side trailing 3-0 at the break.
His presence changed the dynamics of the game, his devastating pace down the flanks and trickery proved to be the catalyst that swung the match in Nordsjaelland’s favor.
Sadiq sparked the come-back after getting his name on the scoresheet with a fine finish but his cameo was cut short after picking up an hamstring injury.
His team however went on to win the game 4-3.
Ibrahim Sadiq was one of Ghana’s brightest stars at the 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup tournament held in India where the Starlets exited at the quarterfinals stage.
