Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have joined Medeama SC in the race to sign budding Aduana Stars defender Caleb Amankwah.
Coach C.K Akonnor has reportedly identified the 21 year old as the perfect long-term replacement for club captain Amos Frimpong.
The Porcupine Warriors will have to face stiff competition from Medeama who are also keen on the versatile defender.
Having joined the Premier League champions from Academy side two seasons ago, the Black Meteors ace has established as a key figure in the Aduana squad.
He was an integral member of the team before the 2018 league season was truncated. He featured in the club’s CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup campaign last season.
