Ghana defender Godfred Asante is glad with his maiden league goal for Guinean champions AC Horoya.
The towering defender headed home the opener against fierce rivals Wakriya AC in the 13th minute on Wednesday evening as Horoya cruised to a deserving 2-0 win.
Asante emphasized that he is happy with his output and he will always contribute his best for the team.

“Personally, I scored my first league goal for the club and It was perfect. I hope to score more but the most important thing is we winning always.”
Horoya skipper Mandela Ocansey netted the second goal for Horoya as they recorded their first away victory over Wakriya in two years.
