Ghanian midfielder William Opoku Asiedu has launched a scathing attack on Indian giants Minerva Punjab over bad treatment.
The talented enforcer has been a live wire in Minerva since joining them two seasons ago but he believes he and his colleagues are not been treated well.
“They (Minerva) are not serious people. They just stress with video section. No good rest and they want you to play good football. They think football is played by mouth or something like yo-yo test.
Minerva canceled the contract of Japanese Yu Kuboki ahead of their Asian Champions League game against Iranian outfit Saipa and Owusu further castigated the team for that bad decision.
“Yu, you are very good player. But Minerva only treat players anyhow and in my whole life I have never seen a team like Minerva. They cheat players and treat them anyhow. They slashed your salary and told you to go through yo-yo test.”
Opoku, 21, has previously played for Okyeman Planners and Middlesbrough Under 23 in England.
