University of Education striker Abel Manomey has extended his contract with Division One League side Accra Great Olympics until July this year, FootballMadeInGhana.com can confirm.
The prolific striker whose contract is expected to end at the end of January has extended the contract until Summer.
The goal poacher banged in 5 goals during the just-ended University Games in Cape Coast for University of Education and is hoping to replicate the same form when football finally returns in the country.
Abel has been the leading striker for the Dade Boys in the last two seasons until he picked a career threatening injury before the Ghanaian football season was truncated.
Abel, 26, is currently doing his Master’s Degree in Physical Education at the University of Education, Winneba.
He had an impressive start to the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League for Olympics, finding the back of the net five times in a seven outings before the terrible injury kept him out of action.
