ENOS ADEPAH coached the center back at Wa All Stars.

When Asante Kotoko wanted to sign Ismail Ganiyu from Karela United, one person they consulted for expert opinion was the defender’s former coach Enos Adepah.

The current boss of Techiman Eleven Wonders won the 2016 Ghana premier league with Wa All Stars and one of his important players was Ganiyu. Adepah was asked to run the rule over Ganiyu and another center back and the rated the former as first choice.

“Some Kotoko leaders asked me for my opinion on the player when they wanted to sign him and I offered a positive recommendation. There was another option the club was looking at and that player was a player I have coached too but I told them Ganiyu is the better deal.” Adepah revealed to FootballmadeinGhana.com in an exclusive interview.

Ganiyu has quickly established himself as a first team player under C.K Akonnor and Adepah is proud to have contributed to the development of the player.

” I trained him and I know what he can achieve with Kotoko. I have been hearing some positives news about him since he joined but I haven’t watched him but from what I hear I think he is doing well” he added.
