Former Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association, Kojo Yankah has advised the Government not to entertain the Normalization Committee after news broke out that they need financial assistance.
It has been reported in the media that the Normalization Committee had written to the Government demanding 7.2 million cedis to organize a competition.
The outspoken football administrator thinks there is enough money at the FA’s coffers to run the said tourney.
“Government shouldn’t entertain the Normalization committee. What do they need that 7.2 million cedis for? Is organising a football competition part of their mandate?”Kojo Yankah said in an interview with Happy FM.
“There’s money at the GFA so why run to Government for assistance?”
He added: “The Normalization committee should run to FIFA for financial help not government because FIFA appointed them.”
