The former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko winger believes determined young players are always better than assembling bunch of old materials by Ghanaian clubs.
The Ghana premier league great is impressed by the progress made by his former club Asante Kotoko following the Anas expose.
The Porcupine Warriors defeated a select side of Akyemansa in Akyem Ofoase on Sunday by 2-0 and Taylor is impressed by the latest performance of the team coached by C.K Akonnor.
“I am impressed by the team (Kotoko). If you look at them they have a good team and I think they can achieve big things” Charles Taylor said.
“I always say if you have young and determined players it is better than putting a team in which majority are old players.” Taylor added.
“That is how the game is now. You need a perfect balance of youth and experience. The old players should be few and that is the way to build a team” the former Local Black Stars winger stated.
New Kotoko recruit Naby Keita Laye scored the two goals for his side on Sunday.
