Asante Kotoko secured a three-year kit sponsorship deal with Portuguese sportswear manufacturer Strike on November 2nd and here FootballmadeinGhana.com looks at all the details you need to know about the latest sponsorship deal landed by the current Kotoko management.
1.The club would earn GHc50 000 from Strike for signing the 3-year partnership and stands to accrue more revenue from the sales of replica jerseys and paraphernalia to be brought down by the company.
2.Each player will be printed six shirts for a season therefore four home shirts and two away jerseys.
3.The deal brokers Club Consult Africa and Strike have the exclusive rights to print replica jerseys and paraphernalia with Kotoko colors and logos and has the right to sue right offenders.
4.Asante Kotoko will get additional 200 000 Ghana cedis anytime Strike are able to sell 200 000 copies of the Kotoko replica jerseys. This means Kotoko supporters would have to largely patronize the replica shirts so that their club stand the chance of activating this clause of the contract.
