Ghana striker Michael Sarpong was the hero of the day on Wednesday as he scored and also won a penalty for Rayon Sports in his Rwandan League debut.
Sarpong was the man of the match at the Muvumba Grounds as his side put up a superb performance to grab all the three points away from home.
The former Dreams FC striker was brought down in the 18-yard box after breaking through the middle and Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana made no mistake by scoring the resulting penalty.
Sarpong made it 2-0 before the 25th minute with a fantastic header from a corner kick before the home team pulled one back in the second half.
Fellow Ghanaian Prosper Donkor was also excellent in the heart of the Rayon midfield.
