Leicester City boss Claude Puel is mute on the estimated recovery time of Ghana defender Daniel Amartey following his horrendous ankle injury on Saturday.
Amartey started the game against West Ham at the King Power Stadium but was stretched off with a serious ankle injury after Leicester had exhausted all their changes.
The Ghanaian international had a surgery on Sunday but Puel is tight-lipped on when he will be back in action.
‘I hope he comes back quickly and strongly,’ Puel stated. ‘He needs to be examined and afterwards we will see.”
‘He made a strong game for all the battles. At the end he tries to save an opportunity, he is an example for his teammates. He improves a lot for the season.’
Amartey could be out for a period of three to four months.
