Kotoko thrashed Hearts of Oak 3-1 in FA Cup final on this day

On this day, 29 October last year Sadick Adams produced a magnificent performance scoring an incredible first half hat trick at the Tamale Sports stadium to help his club Asante Kotoko lift the FA Cup trophy at the expense of Hearts of Oak.

The former Ghana U-17 striker netted in the 1st , 29th and 45th minutes to break the hearts of the Phobians in Tamale in one of the best Hearts versus Kotoko duels ever.

Kotoko won by 3-1 in the end after many expected the on form Phobians to clinch the title.

  1. Thomas Abbey reduced the score for Frank Nuttall’s side in the 59th minute with a powerful header but Hearts of Oak could not force a comeback.
