English-born Ghanaian striker Dan Agyei has signed a new one-year deal with Premiership side Burnley.
Agyei, 20, was loaned to League One side Walsall for the first part of the season where he netted five times before continuing his development at Blackpool for the second round.
The young attacker who already has three EPL appearances under his belt hinted that he is ready to fight for a permanent place in the team.
“I’m delighted to be staying,” Agyei revealed after signing the new contract.
“Hopefully I can come back next season and kick on and try and push for a place in the team.”
Agyei who can plays as a winger and also as a striker joined Burnley from Wimbledon in the summer of 2015.
