Dreams FC manager Abdul Karim Zito has praised his players following the 1-0 win over Kumasi Asante Kotoko in match-day seven of the 2017/2018 Ghana Premier League.
The Dawu-based club snatched a late winner through George Dwubeng in the crunch encounter as manager Karim Zito completed a double over the club he attained cult status at.
Zito insists his charges were eager to beat Kotoko after going three games in the league without a win and he was happy they achieved that feat.
‘’Dream were hungry to beat Kotoko. After playing three matches, we had only one point so I encouraged my boys to win the game no matter what happens,” Zito stated in the post-match presser
”What we did in the game was to look for opportunities to score, and we managed to score. So am happy with the result’’.
Dreams FC have now moved to fifth place with Eleven points whilst Kotoko are 7th with ten points.
