Black Queens to begin camping for Japan friendly

Coach Mercy Tagoe Quarcoo has invited 25 players to the camp of the female senior national team, Black Queens start preparation for their international friendly against Japan on 1st April, 2018.

Coach Mercy Tagoe kept faith with most of her players that won the WAFU Zone ‘B’ Women’s tournament in Abidjan last month and there have been eight new additions to the team. Their camping commences on next week. Wednesday.

The invited players are Lily Niber-Lawrence (Hasaacas Ladies), Ampem Darkoa’s Justice Tweneboa, Edem Atovor (LadyStrikers), Rosemary Ampem (Immigration), Nancy Coleman (Soccer Intellectuals), Mavis Owusu (Ampem Darkoa), Alberta Asante (Police Ladies) and Theresa Ackon Cobbina (Sea Lions).

The rest are: Patricia Mantey (Immigration Ladies), Nana Ama Asantewaa and Fafali Dumehasi (Police Ladies), Janet Egyir (Hasaacas Ladies), Ellen Coleman (Lady Strikers), Philicity Asuako (Police Ladies), Gladys Amfobea (LadyStrikers), Ernestina Tetteh (Halifax Ladies) and Grace Asantewaa (Ampem Darkoa).

Priscilla Okyere (Ampem Darkoa), Juliet Acheampong (Prisons Ladies), Rita Okyere (Prisons Ladies), Alice Kusi (Zouk Mosbeh, Lebanon), Portia Boakye (Fradi FC, Hungary), Leticia Zipki (Immigration), Grace Asare (Prisons Ladies) and Jane Ayieyam (Police Ladies) complete the list.
