The 2017/2018 Ghana Premier League is expected to start next week after an Accra High court threw out Accra Great Olympics’ application for an interlocutory injunction on the league and the mandatory congress congress.
Olympics placed a court injunction on the league and congress over a case with Bechem United in which they felt they were not fairly treated.
The case was called two weeks ago and it hearing was postponed to February 21, as the court examined documents from Olympics as well as the GFA.
The Accra High court ruled that Olympics have no case and their application for the interlocutory injunction has been dismissed.
The GFA will go for congress in the coming days and officially announce the date of the start of the new season.
