CAS case won’t affect Eleven Wonders

Eleven Wonders coach, Mumuni Abdul Gamel has stated that, the pending case between his club and Techiman City has not and will not also affect his side’s preparation as they gear up for the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League.

The coach was speaking to media after his side’s 1-0 loss to Asante Kotoko in the G-8 tournament. “It does not affect us; the case has been there since the beginning of the second round of the Division One.

It won’t affect us, it didn’t affect us, we played and qualified, we have taken it out of our mind, we are concentrating on our game, the Management will take care of that” said Coach Gamel.

When asked if he thinks Eleven Wonders are in danger of going back to the Division One on the CAS ruling. “I don’t think it will happen. It will not happen. We have been confirmed to play in the Premier League. We’ve been given the medals and cup to play in the Premier League” he added.

The coach also debunked the issue that he sent Real Tamale United (RTU) to relegation. “I wasn’t there when RTU were relegated. I didn’t send RTU to relegation” he argued.
