Defender, Christopher Bonney says the prospect of meeting his former club Asante Kotoko in Sunday’s 60th Independence Anniversary match excites him so much.
The youngster who is hoping to clinch a deal with Hearts of Oak ahead of next season already looks set to play his first competitive match for the Phobians although as a guest player.
“It’s always a different feeling when you meet your former club in a match. Some players that you played with are now going to be your opponents” said Bonney.
“All these and more add to the excitement and I’m looking forward to meeting them on Sunday, that’s if I’m selected for the game” Bonney told FootballMadeInGhana.com.
Hearts have the advantage as they go into the game with a healthy 3-1 lead from the first leg played at the Accra Sports Stadium in July this year.
