Former Ifeanyi Ubah coach Yaw Preko is expected to be named as the deputy coach of Ghana Premier League outfit Inter Allies.
The Eleven is to One named Kenichi Yashuashi as their new boss over the weekend and the Japanese gaffer has asked the management of the club to get Yaw Preko as his assistant.
Kenichi and Preko worked together at Accra Hearts of Oak and continued at Ubah before the later was appointed as the head coach in the second season when his boss left.
Footballmadeinghana.com can exclusively reveal that talks between the top hierarchy of Inter Allies and Preko have reached an advanced stage and he will finally put pen on paper to sign a two-year deal in the coming days.
Inter Allies were last season handled by Prince Owusu but he was dismissed with four games to go to the end of the season when the club was wallowing in the relegation zone.
Dreams FC manager Abdul Karim Zito took charge on interim basis and guided the club to survival in the Ghanaian topflight.
