South African Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed the signing of Ghana goalkeeper Razak Brimah as a free agent.
The 30-year-old old shot stopper had his contract terminated by Spanish second-tier side Cordoba after making just three appearances in the 2016/2017 season and has been available on the market since June.
Sundowns have lost Wayne Sandilands to Orlando Pirates and have moved to secure the services of the Ghanaian as back up to Dennis Onyango and Kennedy Mweene.
The 2016 African champions winners confirmed the details of the player’s signing on the club’s official website.
“Mamelodi Sundowns have moved to bolster their goalkeeping department with the signing of experienced Ghanaian goalkeeper Brimah Razak.” The club posted.
Brimah was being courted by Spanish fourth-tier side Atletico Malagueno and had several training sessions with them before deciding to join Sundowns.
