Minister of Youth and Sports in Ghana, Isaac Asiamah has pointed out that Black Stars assistant coaches Ibrahim Tanko and Maxwell Konadu are under official contract.

The ministry and the Ghana Football Association have come under intense pressure in the past week after it emerged in the media that only Kwesi Appiah is under contract.

Asiamah has however refuted the allegation by coming out that Appiah’s two deputies are all under genuine contract.

“Both Ibrahim Tanko and Maxwell Konadu are under $5000 a month contract. GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi signed the contract with the assistant coaches on behalf of the Government because they (GFA) are managers of the Black Stars,” Asiamah told Oman FM

The ministry are said to be owing many of the national team coaches because they have no genuine contract.
