Al Ahly striker John Antwi will stay at Misr El Maqassa on loan for one more season as part of a deal which has brought midfielder Hesham Mohamed to the opposite direction on a five-year deal.
Footballmadeinghana.com can exclusively reveal that the club of the century completed the signing of the tireless Hesham Mohamed from Maqassa on Tuesday and have included the Ghanaian in the deal for a one-year loan.
Antwi was lend to Maqassa by Ahly in January this year and helped them to second-place in the Egyptian Premier League by scoring 13 goals in 20 appearances.
The Ghanaian has already attained cult status at the Fayum stadium and he will be very instrumental as Maqassa eyes success in next season’s CAF Champions League and also attempt to wrestle the title from Ahly.
Antwi, 24, has been very consistent in the Egyptian League scoring goals for fun since 2012.
