Ghana youngster Bernard Mensah has been ordered by Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone to train with the Team B with his next move yet to be decided by the Rojiblancos.

Mensah is not in the plans of main team coach Simeone and he is expected to be farmed-out again as he seeks to get adequate playing time.

Before a loan deal is secured for him, the 21-year-old Ghanaian together with  Nicolás Schiapacasse  and Caio Henrique will be having their pre-season with manager Oscar Fernandez at the second team.

The Ghanaian spent last season on loan at Vitoria Guimaraes where he made 25 appearances and gave one assist.

His contract with Atletico ends in the summer of 2021 and it is likely he will go on loan again to Portugal for the coming season.
