Captain of Ghana National Division One side Dreams FC, Abdul Bashiru has joined Kosovo giants FK Prishtina.

The talented left-back signed a two-year deal with the Pristina-based club and he is expected to play a key role in the coming season.

Bashiru was playing this current season on loan at Bechem United but has now moved abroad to begin his professional career.

Coach of FK Prishtina, Arsim Thaqi is happy with the capture of the 2016 Ghana Premier League player of the season nominee as he hopes the Ghanaian can help his team in their quest to win the title.

“We have signed Dreams FC captain Abdul Bashiru and he will play at the left-side of defence for us. He is a great player with lots of experience and will be very useful for us,” Arsim Thaqi told footballmadeinghana.com

“Already we have Abdul Basit also from Dreams FC, A very good striker who scored lots of goals last season,”

Prishtina finished second in the Kosovo Premier League last season and played in the Europa League group stage qualifiers but were knocked out by Swedish side IFK Norrkoping.
