Chinese side Tianjin TEDA have sent Nigerian forward Brown Ideye to their Team B in order to pave way for Ghanaian winger Frank Acheampong.

The Tianjin Tigers signed the Ghanaian international on loan from Anderlecht on Thursday but had to let one of their five foreign players to leave in order to add Acheampong to the main team.

Footballmadeinghana.com can reveal that the ambitious Chinese club asked Brown Ideye to join their reserve squad on Sunday after an unimpressive four goals in 14 appearances since his move from Olympiacos Piraeus this year.

Ideye’s has two years left on his current contract but his future largely depends on the output of Frank Acheampong.

The Nigerian will be sold outright should Acheampong excel in his loan deal.
