French Ligue 2 side Sochaux have announced that they have signed Ghana youth international Lawrence Ati Zigi from Redbull Salzburg.
The 20-year-old goal tender appended his signature to a three-year deal with the Stade Auguste Bonal Montbeliard side on Monday morning and he is expected to provide stiff opposition for incumbent Maxence Prevot.
Sochaux manager Peter Zeidler is said to be a great admirer of the budding goalkeeper and has monitoring him closely at Liefering in the Austria second-tier.
Zigi joined Redbull Salzburg in January, 2015 from Redbull Ghana and has gone on to make a total of 33 appearances for their main feeder club Liefering.
He becomes the third Ghanaian to feature for Sochaux in recent years after Ishmael Yartey and Jordan Ayew.
