Ghana skipper Asamoah Gyan has signed a two-year deal with Turkish Super Lig side Kayserispor after leaving Shanghai SIPG.
The 31-year-old appended his signature to the deal on Wednesday morning ending speculations on his long term future.
Gyan is set to earn a whooping €1.5 million euros annually making him one of the well-paid players in the Turkey.
The former Sunderland striker who spent last season on loan UAE side Al Ahli Dubai was courted by Bursaspor and Goztepe before agreeing to join the Anatolian Stars.
Gyan’s return to Europe is great news for Ghana with the country eyeing to win the 2019 AFCON in Cameroon.
